Most of the time, I hate them and they always seem to be outstanding, never completely done. I’ve heard about people swapping houses with a friend, in order to clean. Doesn’t that sound weird? On the […]

By Anne 17 Comments

Why are my coworkers are idiots

No, not all of them. Chances are, your coworkers are idiots, too.  I might even be talking about your friends and family. Or about you. Yes, you. What It’s Like to Own Firearms in Canada

By Anne 33 Comments

Some of the technical details and some of my thoughts on what it's like to own firearms in Canada. It's rather different than the USA, here's how.

Firearms are a rather polarizing topic, of that I am well aware. Below are some insights into my own experiences as a gun owner in Canada. They are not all-encompassing, but I feel that they are fairly representative of the experiences of myself and some others that I know. Again, I am not purporting to […]

What’s Saved on Your Work Computer Right Now

What would happen if you lost access to your work computer, completely, tomorrow? Assuming you are like most of the population, you have a lot of things saved on it, which are for your own use. Perhaps the spreadsheet you were using to track your workouts? I know that I have some old brainstorming […]

The Bottom

You made it all the way to the bottom! Thanks so much for reading.
Did you know that The Bottom is the name of a town on the island of Saba, in the Caribbean? I went there on a trip once.
The other bottoms I think about are my own bottom, and the bottom of the champagne bottle. Often when I find the bottom of the champagne bottle, my own bottom grows. Funny, that.

Thanks for reading!
