With the Internet becoming more and more prevalent in our daily lives, there are now many opportunities to make legitimate money online. In addition, there are also many opportunities that are available on campus. Here are five ways you can earn money while you are still in school:
1. Freelance Writing
This is a very lucrative industry which is expanding quickly. You can post your services using classified ads, and you can also use one of the many freelance websites that attract both clients and freelancers from all over the world. The three largest websites are Upwork.com, Elance.com, and Freelancer.com; however, Upwork bought out Elance, and these two companies are now merging.
If you are a native English speaker, there are millions of jobs for you out there because most people who are hiring for these positions are demanding that all applicants fit this criterion. However, if English is not your first language, you still have millions of opportunities working for entities that need material from your native tongue translated into English. What this means is that there is work for everybody, so get out there and start writing.
2. Create Videos for YouTube
There are many people who manage to live off of the money they make from YouTube. This is a great potential revenue stream for art and film students. The key to making money from YouTube is to stick with all original content that you have created, so you do not violate copyrights. You then need quality and quantity. Your YouTube channel needs to be filled with unique content that attracts lots of viewers every day in order to make a decent amount of cash.
3. Tutoring
This area of endeavor is perfect for those individuals who are experts in their fields. You can either tutor students in person, or you can tutor people on the internet. Wherever you go, if you know your material well, then there will probably be many people who will be willing to pay money to have you teach them what you know. In addition, if you are going to be a teacher, this is also a good way to improve your teaching abilities so that you will have real-world experience when you begin teaching classes for a living.
4. Blogging
Blogging is a great way to make money if you have a little time and patience. You need to be able to produce blog posts quickly so that you still have plenty of time for your studies. However, the overall process takes time. If you need cash right away, then this is not for you. Blogging is for those who have plenty of funds and are responsible with their cash. If you play your cards right, you can eventually gain readers and make money.
The main websites for blogging are Blogger.com and WordPress.org. However, you can take the content created with WordPress software and put it on your own website. With Blogger, you must place your blog on their website. You can also create your own unique website if you have enough knowledge of html and/or Dreamweaver from Adobe. There are many possibilities, so see which one is right for you.
5. Selling Video Game Accounts
If you are a great video gamer and can level up characters without much difficulty, then you can make lots of money using this technique. All you need to do is locate a game that has large numbers of people playing and then find the places on the internet where people discuss this game. If there is a feasible market for high level characters or wealth to buy items in the game, then begin using your skill to level up characters and/or gain wealth, so you can then sell your accounts to the highest bidder. However, some games forbid this practice, and there are lots of scams out there, so be careful.
These are very popular job opportunities for students nowadays. If you are afraid that it takes up a lot of time and you won’t be able to manage your studies, don’t worry. There are always experts like WritePro.net that can provide you with assistance. So, choose the job that you like more, plan your time and go ahead!
