Some Quick Notes on How Healthcare Works in Canada

By Anne 9 Comments

Here's a snapshot of how healthcare works in Canada, in a real, day to day way. I've always been so curious!

That also reminded me that, despite its prevalence in the first world, it is a thing of great mystery to many, and it works quite differently in many […]

Your Friend is Why Your Car Insurance Costs So Much

By Anne 26 Comments

Your friend is why your car insurance costs so much. Do you know anyone who is an accident waiting to happen? Here's why that matters.

Hey there.  Did you know that it’s Car Care Month? Cars cost a lot of money, and the personal finance blogosphere has a whole lot to say on the subject of cars, that’s for sure.  Let’s ignore the cost of cars, themselves, okay? Do you know anyone that makes you pause, just for a moment, […]

The Bottom

You made it all the way to the bottom! Thanks so much for reading.
Did you know that The Bottom is the name of a town on the island of Saba, in the Caribbean? I went there on a trip once.
The other bottoms I think about are my own bottom, and the bottom of the champagne bottle. Often when I find the bottom of the champagne bottle, my own bottom grows. Funny, that.

Thanks for reading!
